When our founder Mr. Yap, started YYC more than 30 years ago, his vision was simple: To provide for the family.
That was his purpose — heartfelt, personal, and powerful.
When Chau and Shin took over, we carried a different kind of fire.
We wanted to grow big.
Why?
Because we didn’t want to be looked down on.
That became our drive.
In 2024, we finally hit a major milestone: YYC’s talents surpassing 1,000.
It was a big moment for us — a peak we had always dreamed of reaching.
But once we got there, a new question came up:
What’s next? What are we really building, and why does it matter?
So we paused. Reflected. Dug deep.
And from that, YYC Vision 2.0 was born.
As we looked into the future — not just the next year, but the next 30, 50, even 100 years — we referred to the Collins-Porras Vision Framework.
It reminded us that enduring companies are guided by three things:
These are not things we hope to become.
They are who we already are — the principles that live in our gut and our DNA.
They came from how our founder built this business.
They shape how we lead and how we serve.
They are non-negotiable.
This is not just about making money.
It’s our guiding star — the deeper meaning behind why we exist.
It gives direction, keeps us steady in uncertain times, and reminds us who we’re really here for.
Purpose doesn’t change. Even if the business does.
This is the mountain we choose to climb together.
It’s bold and energizing.
It aligns our team, stretches our thinking, and gives us something meaningful to aim for.

YYC Vision 2.0 is not just a new chapter — it’s a new level of clarity.
It’s a return to who we’ve always been, and a bold step toward who we’re becoming.
We’re not just here to grow big.
We’re here to build people, raise leaders, and create lasting impact — just like our founder’s brother did when he gave him the opportunity to study abroad and change his family’s future forever.
And so, here is our YYC Vision 2.0 - Core Values and Beliefs, Purpose and Mission.
We champion entrepreneurs who will always face challenges—because every stage of growth brings new giants. We believe in standing with them, not just at the start, but through every uphill climb. Our journey exists to inspire theirs: if we can do it, so can you. Yes You Can!
YYC is a platform to discover, develop, and fully use our potential to positively impact lives. We believe that when one person unlocks their purpose and succeeds, it creates a multiplier effect that uplifts the lives of others—just like our founder’s brother did.
Delighting is more than service—it’s about building meaningful relationships. We want every customer to feel understood and know they are truly taken care of, with their problems in good hands every time they experience YYC.
We go the extra mile to care for those who stay the course with us. We believe in rewarding loyalty and ensuring our people feel valued, secure, and supported while they give their best to YYC.
We believe growth is a lifelong journey, powered by relentless effort and sincerity. Nothing great comes easy—we earn success through grit, discipline, and continuous learning, always remembering to stay humble and real.
We decentralize our business into units led by authentic leaders who are empowered to make decisions, lead in their own way, and take full ownership of their results—while staying aligned to YYC’s vision. This mindset applies to future leaders too, encouraging them to step up and take initiative.
We are sincere and honest with one another—because trust begins within. We align as One YYC, standing together with unity and respect. We may have healthy debates inside, but when facing the outside world, we stand as one. We protect each other, support each other, and fight as one team.
To inspire and empower good people to overcome their odds and unleash their potential through our relentless David vs Goliath journey.
This one’s for YYCians. The rest—stay curious.😉
