Why a new vision
We reached the peak. Then asked what’s next.
When our founder Mr. Yap, started YYC more than 50 years ago, his vision was simple: To provide for the family. That was his purpose — heartfelt, personal, and powerful. When Chau and Shin took over, we carried a different kind of fire. We wanted to grow big. Why? Because we didn’t want to be looked down on. That became our drive.
In 2024, we finally hit a major milestone: YYC’s talents surpassing 1,000. It was a big moment for us — a peak we had always dreamed of reaching. But once we got there, a new question came up: What’s next? What are we really building, and why does it matter?
So we paused. Reflected. Dug deep. And from that, YYC Vision 2.0 was born.
And so, here is our YYC Vision 2.0 — Core Values and Beliefs, Purpose and Mission.
