Q: What are the conditions for claiming child relief for a child who is serving under articles or indentures with a view to qualifying in a trade or profession in Malaysia?

A: To be eligible to claim a child relief of RM8,000 for a child who is serving under articles or indentures, the child must be studying and working at the same time under such articles or indentures, and must be required to devote all of his time to the training for a period of not less than two years.
